Looking for a set of lashes that’ll fit and suit your eye shape perfectly? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Finding, understanding and accepting the uniqueness of your eye shape is the first step to ensure a flattering and accentuated look for them.

Here’s everything you need to know about eye shapes:

Eye shapes are divided into six broad categories and knowing which category you belong to can help you ace any kind of makeup look.

Hooded Eyes

Hooded eyes are categorized by a prominent brow bone, with little or no space for eyelids to show when the eyes are fully open. Choosing makeup looks, and eyelashes for hooded eyes can be tricky. Here’s everything you need to know:

Almond Eyes

A favorite among makeup artists, people with almond eye shapes can possibly pull off any look when it comes to eye makeup. An extremely common eye shape among Indians, almond eyes are wider towards the outer corner than they are longer, leaving just enough space for a prominent eye crease - exactly like the shape of an almond!

Prominent Eyes

Also known as protruding eyes, prominent eyes tend to sit more on the outside of your eye socket area. People who fall under this category are known for their expressive set of eyes, since their eyes become a focal point of the face.

Monolid Eyes

Monolid eye shapes have a less prominent crease, and a visibly smaller area for the eye socket. Also known as a shallow eye shape, monolid eyes show little or no area of the eyelid when eyes are fully open.

Round Eyes

As the name suggests, round eyes are characterized by their perfect circular appearance. While the size of round eyes may differ, this set of eyes is neither wide nor long towards either of the two eye corners - just prominently circular!

Small Eyes

If you are someone with small eyes, the size of your eye is significantly smaller in comparison to your other features, particularly your lips and nose. Small eyes can be round, almond, hooded or monolid. The size of the eye in comparison with other features is what will help you identify this shape of eyes.
